Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb have lost their
coach Miroslav Blazevic after just one round of the 2002/03 season.
The man who famously led Croatia to third place at World Cup '98 resigned on
Monday, just a day after Dinamo Zagreb drew 1-1 in an away match against
Cibalia. It is no secret that Blazevic has endured a strained relationship
with club management of late, but the specific reason behind his sudden
departure remains a mystery.
The former Iran coach is expected to elaborate on the motivation behind his
resignation on Tuesday, and some even speculate that he will retract his
decision to quit the club.
