PLDC - Naser Ebrahimi (Persepolis coach) spoke to the press after Persepolis lost at home to Zob Ahan of Isfahan with the result of 1-0 in the 4th week of the Iranian Professional League. He said, “Persepolis has a lot of problems in its defense lineup. In the last 10 minutes of the game, I kept telling the boys to group up and not separate but they did not pay attention.”

“Finally at the end of the match, Zob Ahan made use of one of the opportunities offered to score a goal and win the game. It is natural for strikers to score and in the past Farshad Pius and Mohammadkhani scored for us. Our older players were more inclined to score compared to the new generation. The match against Zob Ahan was not any tougher than other games. The only weakness was in the defense lineup and the lack of determination by the strikers.”
