Iran to Play Yemen at WAFF U-23 Championship Semis

Tasnim - Iran will play Yemen in the 2015 West Asian U-23 Football Federation (WAFF) Championship semi-final on Saturday.


Mohammad Khakpour’s men are scheduled to face Yemen in the Lekhwiya SC Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Iran advanced from Group B as the top team with four points, followed by Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Host Qatar will take on Syria in the other semi-final.

The competition will be used as a warm up for the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship which is also scheduled to be held in Qatar.
