Payam Sadeghian

PLDC - Tehran, The league's Committee for Violations has given five Esteghlal and Persepolis players warning due to the hair-styles that they had for the Tehran Derby.

Prior to the match, this committee had warned  Meysam Hosseini, Jlloyd Samuel and Payam Sadeghian from Persepolis, and Hanif Omranzadeh and Fardin Abedini from Esteghlal, for their hair-styles.

Abedini and Omranzadeh listened to this warning and changed their hair before game, but the two Persepolis players did not.

Hojjat-al-Eslam, Alireza Alipour, has confirmed and said, "If they were aware of this warning then they must be dealt with differently than if they knew about the warning. However, Samuel, Esteghlal's foreign player, had also been warned about his hairstyle prior to the match."

This is the second warning given to Sadeghian and Meysam Hosseini this season. According to the by-laws of the league, if any player gets warned four times in one season, then he must be seriously disciplined.

These players have two warnings already and two more warnings could equal to a monetary fine or even suspension.
