Esteqlal hands Zob home humiliating defeat

IRNA - Troubled Esteqlal restored some part of its prestige on Tuesday as it crushed Zob Ahan here. 
Playing a 23rd week match of Iran Pro League (IPL), visitor blues grabbed a badly needed win by trouncing Zob 3-0 in Fouladshahr Stadium of Isfahan. 
Right winger Mehdi Hashemi-Nassab opened the scoring in the 55th minute and striker Ali Samereh made it 2-0. Left midfielder wrapped up a 3-0 victory for Esteqlal of Tehran in the second minute of the second half's injury time. 
Assisted by his two linesmen Shoja'at Mohammadi and Safdar Ahmadi, Khodadad Afsharian refereed the match.
