North Korea-Iran Football Match Postponed

Mehr News Agency – The first-leg preliminary match of the Asian Cup between North Korea and Iran was postponed, said the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Wednesday.

In a fax sent to Iran’s Football Federation, the AFC has yet to announce the new date.

 

North Korea and Iran had been already scheduled to meet in Pyongyang on October 18.

 

Iran, North Korea, Jordan, and Lebanon are in Group D.

 

On October 17, the Jordanian side will entertain Lebanon in Amman. Here below comes latest Group D table (played, won, drawn, lost, goals for, goals against, points):
