Iran duo remain impressive in Bundesliga

AFC -  IRAN internationals Mehdi Mahdavikia and Vahid Hashemian both scored again over the weekend to keep the Asian flag flying proud in the German Bundesliga. 

While Hashemian’s seventh minute goal was the catalyst behind VfL Bochum's 4-0 win over Cologne, Mahdavikia’s 77th minute penalty was the icing in the cake behind Hamburg SV's 3-1 win over TSV 1860 Munich. 

Hashemian has now nine goals to his name in the German league and together with his international compatriot Mahdavikia, both players have now scored two goals in consecutive games.
