PFDC - The Iranian dazzling new star Arash
Borhani who showed his superb form in the WAFF championship scoring 5 goals
for Iran national team in this tournament. However the young player was
inflicted with a harsh injury in the last minutes of the final game against
Syria and therefore was forced to get substituted.
The Iranian national team physician Dr. Khanleri said to reporters that
before the swelling of his foot and the MRI tests, he did some preliminary
tests and it showed that there has not been a major damage to the minisk and
does not believe that it is a torn minisk and it may be a moderate soreness.
He added that the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) test will most probabely
proove his points about the degree of the injury.
Dr. Khanleri also predicted that Borhani will be able to start light
exersize in two week's time and he is hopefull that Arash will be fully
ready for the important games in the Asian cup in July.
Khanleri also talked about Rahman Rezaei, Mahdavikia and Mirzapour who have
been nursing light injuries that all these players are more or less
recovered and will not have any problem to join Team Melli for the Asian
Cup.
