Perspolis mounts, Zob remains on top

Tehran - Pirouzi of Tehran edged out Zob Ahan of Isfahan at home 1-0 on Thursday in the 15th and the final week of the country's premier league soccer championship.

Red-clad men's forward Sohrab Entezari slotted home the only goal of the tournament in the 90th minute which took place in Azadi Stadium, west of the capital Tehran.

Desparated Red fans jumpped off their seats as their side scored the goal minute into the end of the show.

Zob remains at the top spot with 29 points, but the red men climb up one point closer to the top with 28 points.
