Sportinglife - Kaiserslautern midfielder
Ferydoon Zandi has escaped with minor injuries after he was involved in a
car crash in Germany.
The Iranian international was travelling on the A6 motorway towards
Mannheim on Monday when he collided with a military vehicle after being
forced to swerve to avoid another car.
Both Zandi and the driver of the military vehicle were treated for minor
injuries and shock following the accident, which is estimated to have
caused 150,000 euros (£100,000) worth of damage.
It is not yet clear whether the 25-year-old will be available for the
weekend's visit of Borussia Monchengladbach to the Betzenberg stadium,
although he was released from hospital soon after the incident and is
expected to be back in training on Tuesday.
