DPA - British football coach Sir Bobby
Robson will come to Iran next week to discuss working in the country,
Iranian media reported on Saturday.
Robson will arrive in Teheran on March 24 and is scheduled to watch the
World Cup Asian qualifier between Iran and Japan in the Azadi stadium the
next day, the news agency ISNA reported.
Robson told ISNA that he has an offer from the Iranian football federation
to help the country set up a football academy.
Robson added that he earlier refused an offer from Bahrain to coach the
sheikhdom's national team as he preferred to work with youth players.
The United Arab Emirates has made Robson a similar offer to that of Iran and
the former Newcastle coach will evaluate both offers on his trip to the
Persian Gulf region, ISNA reported.
