Hannover - Striker Vahid Hashemian is leaving
Bayern Munich after signing a three-year contract with Hannover on Thursday.
The Iranian international hopes a new address in the Bundesliga will get his
career back on track. He struggled with Bayern Munich since arriving there
last summer from Bochum.
The 28-year-old failed to find the back of the net in nine league matches in
addition to a pair of Champions League games. Hashemian's sole goal in a
Bayern uniform came in a 7-0 German Cup quarterfinal win over Freiburg.
During the 2002/03 season, Hashemian netted 16 goals in Bundesliga play for
Bochum.
