Moscow, May 16 - Iran's
war-disabled soccer men hammered the Netherlands 3-0 to breeze into
Russia's golden cup semis. The Iranian team stepped into the pitch cheered by precedent wins over the host and world champion Brazil, crushed out Holland with two goals in the first half. Top strikers Ardeshir Mahini and Abd-ul Reza Karami Zadeh scored the two goals to lead the team into the semifinal. Iran is assumed to visit Argentina or Russia A before breezing into the final. The Iranian squad edged out Russia's B 1-0 and crushed out world top Brazil 4-1.
