IRIB - Hamburger SV Defender Mehdi Mahdavikia,
who suffered a painful knee injury during his team's 2-0 win at Schalke 04
over the weekend, is due to play against Borussia Moenchen Gladbach, the
Hamburger Morgenpost newspaper reported in its Tuesday edition.
A bruised knee forced HSV Headcoach Thomas Doll to substitute Mahdavikia in
the 71st minute of the match with Schalke 04.
The Iranian international has turned into a superb defensive player this
season for Hamburg, playing a crucial role in his squad's strong showing.
HSV is currently ranked second in the Bundesliga with 59 points out of 28
