IRNA - Iran's Group D rivals Angola became the
third team after Togo and Costa Rica to arrive in Germany for the 2006 World
Cup, DPA said Saturday.
The World Cup debutants landed at Hanover's Airport, located in northeastern
Germany and were then transferred via bus to their team headquarters in
Celle.
Nicknamed 'The Black Antelopes', Angola play their opening World Cup match
against Portugal on June 11 in Cologne and will then head to Hanover for an
encounter with Mexico on June 16 and a face-off with Iran on June 21 in
Leipzig.
The 64-game World Cup football tournament will be staged in 12 German cities
from June 9 through July 9.
