Kavianpour to join UAE's Al Wasl

Dubai, June 15, IRNA -- Pirouzi national midfielder Hamed Kavianpour will sign a contract with Al Wasl soccer team of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), announced sports officials here Saturday.
According to informed sources, Al Wasl has offered a 500-thousand-dollar sum.
Earlier, another Emirati club had planned to import Kavianpour for 350 thousand dollars but Al Wasl recruited the midfielder by proposing a higher sum.
Al-Khaleej, a UAE's daily, wrote Saturday that Al Wasl has not re-signed with Iranian striker Farhad Majidi yet and it might plan to replace Majidi, former forward of popular side of Esteqlal, with Kavianpour.
