MNA - The two Iran Pro League sides failed to advance to the last 16 as Tehran’s Damash beat Zob in shootouts and San’at Naft from Abadan hammered Abu Moslem at home.

Damash and Zob fought to a 1-1 draw in their 120-minute clash, but Damash outscored the Isfahani team as it converted five spot-kicks and Zob scored four.

Naft snatched the victory as Ruhollah Arab celebrated his double on 16 and 75 minutes.

In another game, the IPL table-topper SAIPA labored a 2-0 home win over Ardebil’s Zob Ahan, with striker Ahmad Mo’menzadeh hitting two in the 36th and 88th minutes.

The Ahvaz-based Esteqlal edged past Sanaye’ of Arak 3-0. The romp came when forward Fereydun Fazli found the net twice and Milad Mey-Davudi added the third.

Sepahan of Isfahan also saw off Maziran 2-0.

Moqavemat-Esteqlal and Shamushak-Pas matches, due to heavy snowfall, were postponed.
