Footballmedia (Nader Jahanfard) - Call it luck, fate, destiny, good fortune, or anything you be fond of, but one thing is for certain, right before the end of the midseason, Saipa FC proved to have the most effective system in place by toppling big names off the chart one after the other!

The “Clockwork Orange” (a nickname given to Holland national team in 70’s), confidently have it in fifth gear and if this trend continues, they will be representing Iran in Asian Champions league next year!

The new and improved Daei (soon to be 38 years old!) has certainly given this team a fresh method of play and Saipa troupe appeared to have found a new direction under his leadership.

Ali Daei who has been the interim coach of the “Orange” (Lorent quit the team few months back) has done a magnificent job keeping the team on top of the league and in a buoyant way he even reminds of Ottmar Hitzfiled who used to coach him when he played for Bayern Munich!

After a depressing finish with the national team and going through intense pressure by his critics, Daei is very quietly getting the job done both as a player and the coach (he is the best goal scorer of IPL so far), and he has given his enemies a new motive to be very cautious of his silence!
Ironically his mentor Ottmar Hitzfiled once said: “when I am totally silent, it’s a bad sign!”

It is no mystery that Iranian football in general can immensely benefit from the future services of her experienced ex-skipper, but a bigger question still remains.

What plans do we have for the future of Daei?

It is time for all (his friends and foes) to come to comprehension and see the prospect that lies within. He is too valuable to be left alone!

Daei’s presence in Iranian football scene is beneficial in every which way imaginable “only” if we direct his aptitude through the right channels.
He needs to attend coaching classes almost immediately. Daei is the living proof of what it takes to be a “gifted” athlete and it would be a big waste of talent and time, if we do not plan ahead now! (Even though we have proven to be culturally challenged when it comes to planning ahead in anything!?).
Yet, his most outspoken critics by now know that Daei is a “sure” bet!
He may not be ready to lead us in 2007 Asian Nations Cup, but the “near future” is always a confident topic!

Once again, congratulations to the old lion and his “Orange” entourage!
They certainly deserve our outmost respect and admiration at this time!

Well-done gentleman. Well done…
