IRNA - Bayern Munich are contemplating of moving Ali Karimi to another club by the end of this month, the kicker football magazine reported Tuesday.

"We are thinking about whether Ali Karimi can already change (teams) in January," Bayern Munich manager Uli Hoeness was quoted as saying in Dubai where the German Bundesliga record champs are holding their annual winter break training camp.

However a likely transfer has to be discussed with Bayern coach Felix Magath, added Hoeness.

The 28-year-old Karimi has been reportedly linked to several clubs in the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to his engagement at Bayern, the Iranian international played for UAE's Al-Ahli from 2001 through 2005.

A rarely used Bayern reserve player, Karimi has yet to score a goal in this Bundesliga season.

Munich media reported earlier that Bayern won't extend Karimi's contract at the end of this Bundesliga season.

Magath who had great hopes for Karimi when he signed him in 2005, has been frustrated by the Iranian player's unwillingness to learn the German language in a bid to be able to adjust better within the team.
