IRNA - Hertha Berlin will play their season- ending game against Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt without Ashkan Dejagah who has been kicked off the lineup for arriving late at team practice, the sports portal sport 1 reported Saturday.

The 20-year midfielder who will transfer to VfL Wolfsburg at the end of the season, was left out of the roster by Hertha coach Karsten Heine after he arrived 44 minutes late for training.

Dejagah who scored one goal and provided four assists in 21 Bundesliga games, claims he mixed up the training hours.

The German-Iranian player made headlines in February when he was detained by police for several hours for failing to appear in court on a traffic violation, Bild newspaper reported Wednesday.

Dejagah was picked up by two plainclothes police officers at his Berlin home.

A court sentenced Dejagah to pay a cash fine and serve community work.
