Lcfc - Iran World Cup defender Hossein Kaebi has joined English second division side Leicester City on a two-year contract. Leicester confirmed Kaebi's transfer from Iranian side Persepolis FC on Thursday, the 21-year-old right-back telling his new club's Web site: "I have always wanted to play in Europe and Leicester have given me that opportunity." Kaebi, who featured in all three of Iran's appearances at last year's World Cup in Germany, has 50 caps and has been included in Iran's squad for the forthcoming Asian Cup. |
