PTV - The Iranian Football
Federation is considering four nationals for the job of coaching its team
after deciding against Javier Clemente.
Considering the acute time limitations and the delicate situation of the
national team at the World Cup preliminaries, the IFF has changed its policy
of recruiting foreign coaches and is now looking toward home for a solution.
Afshin Ghotbi, Ali Daei, Amir Ghalenoei and Bijan Zolfagharnasab are the
four Iranian options that will present their programs after the preliminary,
Mehr news agency reported on Friday.
The Committee of National Teams will hold a session on Saturday morning to
discuss the programs of the nominees; the best candidate will be presented
to the IFF.
