Gonzalez to referee Tehran Derby

PTV - Spaniard Iturralde Gonzalez is set to referee the upcoming Tehran Derby between Esteqlal and Persepolis in the Iranian Premier League.

Gonzalez will travel to Iran on April 1, two days before the 64th Tehran Derby, which be held in the capital city's Azadi Stadium.

The 40-year-old was also the referee in the teams' first match in the current season in which the Reds and the Blues ended up in a 1-1 draw.

Persepolis currently ranks first in the Iranian Premier League table with 41 points while Esteqlal is fourth with 37 points.
