PTV - FIFA has warned Iran's Persepolis of deducting more points if it fails to pay a former coach, the team's managing director has said.

"Persepolis must pay its former Dutch coach Arie Haan 70,000 euros or it will face another deduction penalty by FIFA," Habibollah Kashani told Iran's Channel 3 last night.

Haan was appointed as Persepolis coach in February 2006, but was dismissed a few weeks before the beginning of the 2006-07 season.

In February 2008, Persepolis faced a six-point deduction for failing to pay a former player and lost its top position in Iran's Pro League.

It currently stands in the second position after Sepahan, which was also fined with a five-point deduction in January because its fans seriously injured a security officer during a match against Persepolis.
