MNA - Iran is to take part in the Oman Football Tournament to be held from December 17 to 19.
The four-team football tournament will be held between Oman (host), Iran, Ecuador and China.
Romania was originally scheduled to take part in the tournament but Ecuador has replaced the European team.
The Omani football officials will award a cash prize of $ 100,000 to the champions.
Oman prepares itself to participate in the 19th Persian Gulf Cup to be held in the Omani capital of Muscat in January 2009.
