MNA - The secretary general of Iran’s Olympic Committee said on Sunday that the committee is set to employ a foreign coach for Iran’s U-23 team.

“We have failed to qualify for Olympic games in the previous editions. We have to concentrate on recruiting an experienced foreign coach. He will be assisted by some good Iranian coaches. We believe in our coaches but they have to extend their football knowledge,” said Bahram Afsharzadeh.

“Iran National Olympic Committee (NOC) and the Physical Education Organization (PEO) along with the football federation should hold a meeting to find the best coach for the Olympic team soon,” he added.
