Mahdavikia has progressed during the winter preparation for the second half of the German Bundesliga which is to be started on Friday night, according to the German newspaper “Frankfurter Neue Presse”.
Frankfurt coach Friedhelm Funkel is pleased with Mehdi’s good state and his performances in recent friendly matches.
“I’m in good shape and happy that I could participate in the full preparation without any injuries. Hopefully, I will be into the starting lineup in Berlin,” said Mahdavikia.
