Tehran’s favorite team is scheduled to play Esteghlal of Ahvaz on Thursday at the Takhti Stadium in the 33rd week of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
“We just think about victory regardless of our rivals ranking in the IPL table. Persepolis is in search of a berth in the next season of the Asian Champions League (ACL),” the Portuguese said.
Vingada protested to reports that Persepolis’ officials will sack him at the end of the season, and added, “My contract runs out in 2010. I don’t care about these reports and I only concentrate on Persepolis’ success.”
