MNA - Iran’s football team is likely to play a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina on August 12 in Sarajevo.

Miroslav Blazevic, who was Iran’s coach in 2001, is presently skippering Bosnia.

Iran is also likely to play Bahrain on August 31 in Manama.

Afshin Ghotbi’s men are scheduled to play Oman on September 5 in Muscat.

Iran, who failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, prepares to advance to AFC Asian Cup which will be held in Qatar in 2011.

Iran is in Group 5 of the Asian Cup qualification along with Singapore, Thailand and Jordan. The team tops the group with four points with a victory over Singapore and a draw against Thailand.
