In an interview with Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), Soosay said IFF and AFC have well cooperated over recent years as expressing hope efforts could help Iran shoulder more technical responsibilities to direct football in Asia.
Elsewhere, regarding Iran's failure to qualify for 2010 World Cup, he said "the AFC supports Iran in any condition and although presence in the World Cup is very important, it should not overshadow the society and improving football process in Iran."
He continued the failure should not bring an adverse impact for Iran's football.
