Iran to play Uzbekistan on Saturday


MNA - Iran’s soccer team is to clash with Uzbekistan in a friendly match in Tashkent on Saturday.
The two teams have failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and are preparing for the 2011 Asian Cup.

Afshin Ghotbi’s men have already defeated Bosnia 3-2 on August 12 in Sarajevo and lost to Bahrain on August 31 in Manama.

Iran is preparing for its next Asian Cup qualification match against Jordan on November 14.
