Azizi resigns as Esteghlal Ahvaz coach


MNA - Khodadad Azizi quit as Esteghlal Ahvaz coach following a heavy loss to Zob Ahan on Saturday.

The Mashhad native football coach resigned after his team was badly beaten 5-2 by Zob Ahan in the 7th week of the Iran Professional League (IPL) in Isfahan.
 
Azizi has been replaced by Majid Bagherinia.
 
Esteghlal Ahvaz is 15th with five points in the IPL table.
