Esteghlal and Persepolis among Asian bests



MNA - Esteghlal and Persepolis football clubs have been selected as the best of the Asian clubs of the century, according to International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia sits top of the table. Iran’s Esteghlal and Persepolis are third and fifth respectively in the standings.  

Ten Asian clubs of the century:

2. FC Yokohama F. Marinos, Japan 42,25 points
3. Esteghlal FC Tehran, Iran 41,50 points
4. Pohang Steelers FC, Republic of Korea 36,25 points
5. Persepolis FC Tehran, Iran 36,00 points
6. Seongnam Ilhwa FC Chunma, Republic of Korea 35,00 points
7. Liaoning Hongyun FC, China 30,00 points
8. Al-Nasr Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 29,00 points
