Azad University football team will be headed by Bahman Khodakaram,and former Persepolis striker Kourosh Barmak will assist him in the tournament.
Ali Daei has not been with a team since he was axed from the national team in late March. He was replaced by Afshin Ghotbi after poor results in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
The event will take place at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy, from October 12 to 16.
The World Interuniversity Games is an international sport event, organized each year in October by IFIUS (International Federation for Interuniversity Sport).
