MNA - Iran has dropped one place in the latest world rankings issued by FIFA.
Afshin Ghotbi’s men defeated Iceland recently in a friendly and Jordan in the 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers. Iran tied with Macedonia in a warm-up match as well.

Iran has dropped to 63rd with 518 points. The team is fifth among Asian teams in the rankings, behind Australia, Japan, South Korea and Bahrain respectively.
 
European champion Spain overtook Brazil who had been at the top since July.

The Netherlands, Italy and Portugal sit in the following places respectively.
