Iran beats Pakistan in AFC U19 Championship 2010 qualifiers



MNA - Iran football team defeated Pakistan in the AFC U19 Championship 2010 qualifiers on Tuesday.
In the match played at the Takhti Stadium, Iran overpowered Pakistan 4-0 in Group D of the competitions.

The tournament was originally scheduled to feature five teams but Lebanon and Turkmenistan withdrew from the event.

Iran is scheduled to play Uzbekistan on Saturday and both teams will most likely qualify for next year’s finals. A total of the 13 teams have already advanced to the final round.
