MNA - Former Iran football goalkeeper Nasser Hejazi has been hospitalized due to lung disease.
Hejazi has gone to Tehran’s Kasra Hospital for treatment. Atila, his son, hit out at rumors that his father has lung cancer.

“We are waiting for test results. Nothing is clear at the moment,” he said.

Hejazi was the goalkeeper of the Tehran-based Esteghlal and Iran national team during the 1970s.

The 60-year-old won 62 caps for the national team.
