PTV - Iran's national soccer squad has dropped one spot to stand in the sixty-fourth place in the latest FIFA world football rankings.

According to the sport's governing body ranking, which was released on Wednesday, Iran dropped marginally from the 63rd to the 64th place with 508 points, but moved to sixth place in Asia after Australia, Japan, South Korea, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.

Spain leads the December ranking table with 1627 points ahead of five-time World Cup winner Brazil with 1568. The Netherlands sits third followed by Italy and Portugal.
