According to IRNA correspondent, in the game played at Al-Wasl’s own stadium Esteqlal’s goals were scored by Majidi, minutes 7 and 63 (from the penalty point), Seyyed Salehi, minute 40, Omranzadeh, minute 59, and Mahboub Mojaz, on the 88th minute of the game.
Interesting to note, is that many of Esteqlal’s main combination players were absent in the friendly, either due to serious injuries, or since they were playing for the Iranian National Football Team at Qatar Quadrilateral on the same date.
