Esteghlal of Ahvaz sacks coach Bagherinia



MNA - Majid Bagherinia was fired as Esteghlal of Ahvaz football coach on Saturday.
Esteghlal of Ahvaz suffered its fifth consecutive defeat on Friday when the team lost to Zob Ahan of Isfahan in the Iran Professional League (IPL).

Khodadad Azizi replaced Bagherinia as head coach.
 
Esteghlal of Ahvaz is 14th in the IPL standings with 27 points, three above the danger zone.
