Peyrovani quits as Iran Olympic football coach

MNA - Gholamhossein Peyrovani parted company with Iran Olympic football team way ahead of the Guangzhou Asian Games.

Peyrovani, who has had a long-lasting dispute with the Iranian football and Olympic officials, ended his job on Sunday.
“I don’t want to talk about my problems. I would rather resign right away and never return to the team. I wish them all the best,” Peyrovani said.
 
The 16th Asian Games will be held from November 12 to 27 in Guangzhou, China.
