Nekounam joins FIFA Century Club

MNA - Iranian Osasuna midfielder Javad Nekounam made it on the latest FIFA Century Club list.

In about 11 years of playing for Iran the 30-year-old footballer has won 106 international caps and scored 25 times.
He joined the list alongside Ali Daei (148 times), Ali Karimi (111 times) and Mehdi Mahdavikia (110 times).
 
The first footballer to win 100 international caps was Billy Wright of Wolverhampton Wanderers and England. Wright went on to appear 105 times for England, 90 of them as captain.
