Marfavi resigns as Esteghlal coach

MNA - Esteghlal football coach Samad Marfavi stepped down from his post after his team was held by Paykan on Wednesday.

Marfavi, who had extended his contract on Sunday, resigned in Esteghlal’s dressing room right after the match.
Esteghlal was held to 1-1 draw by Paykan in Qazvin and finished in third place in the Iran’s Professional League.
