Salehnia, “Malavan believed and won”

PLDC -In the final match in the third week of the Iranian Professional League between Malavan Anzali and Sanat Naft of Abadan, Malavan defeated their opponents with the score of 1-0 and have now climbed two places from 
the bottom position in the league table to twelfth with three points. 

This has apparently slightly boosted the egos and spirits of the team who had up to this match lost two and had lost hope from early on. This is what Bahman Salehnia, Malavan head coach, had to say after the match, “This victory has given back self-confidence to the Malavan boys and it is the fruit of their efforts.”

“Although we had considered the 3-4-3 formation in mind, the boys carried out their duties well and came up to the expectations of the technical staff. The three points here have given the boys spirits and hope for the future matches.”
